Josh Logan joined the Purdue Fort Wayne men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach in March 2024
The Manchester, England native was an assistant coach for the last five years for Trine. During this period, he was in charge of developing game strategies and coordinating team practices. He was also in charge of marketing of the program and recruiting.
For the last two years, Logan was also an assistant coach for Texas United FC. He recruited players from multiple NCAA Division I Top 25 programs. Logan was also in charge of coordinating player tryouts and assisting the head coach with developing player training programs.
Before his time at Texas United FC, Logan spent the 2021 season as the assistant coach of Midland Odessa Sockers FC and the 2022 season as head coach of 1927 SC. During his time at Midland Odessa Sockers FC, the team won the OVPL regular season champion and tournament championship, along with having the OVPL MVP and top goalscorer. Logan filled a similar role to his position with Trine on each of these coaching staffs.
Logan collegiate career began at Ancilla, in Indiana, and played for current Trine Head Coach David Jacobs. He started every match of his career at Ancilla, with a 31-5-1 overall record. He ended his career as a first-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-American honoree and was the "Most Valuable Player" of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XII Tournament. In addition, Logan earned All-Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) accolades and was named the Ancilla Defensive "MVP."
Logan transferred to Saginaw Valley State (Mich.) University prior to the 2017 season where he helped the Cardinals to a 13-4-2 record and finish as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Tournament runners up in his final collegiate season. SVSU also received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
